Canada Day

The Town of Clarenville offers many FREE activities for families to participate in as they Celebrate Canada’s Birthday.

The day begins at 11:30am at the War Memorial on Pleasant St. with flag raising and wreath laying ceremonies in honour of the sacrifices of our Newfoundland soldiers at Beaumont Hamel.

The celebration will include a free BBQ, bouncy castles, and free face painting, dunk tank, Mr. Balloon Man, slip n’ slide, Canada Day cake and much more. All-day entertainment will take place at the bandstand at Elizabeth Swan Park beginning at 1:30 p.m. The day ends with a fireworks display at Dusk at Elizabeth Swan Park.
