Bare Mountain Trail

One of three trails comprising the Clarenville Trail Network and is very popular among locals and visitors alike, both for its scenic views and its iconic Bare Mountain Star (lit annually during the Christmas season). Overlooking Random Island and Smith Sound, Bare Mountain Trail offers panoramic views of Clarenville and surrounding communities, features several ponds as well as lush forests punctuated by rocky promontories and can be hiked as a linear trail or loop.
